Your data.
Your dashboard.

One connector, seventeen datasets. Use the same brand permissions as Trakkr and build a report around the decisions your team makes.

Generate your API key

Open the connector setup in Trakkr and create a personal API key. Copy it when it is shown, then keep it private.

Open Trakkr setup

Pick a brand and dataset

Authorize the Google community connector, enter your API key, then choose a brand and one dataset per data source.

Open the connector

Build your report

Start with Visibility Over Time, date on the X axis. Add separate sources for citations, competitors or traffic.

Every part of the story.

These are the dataset names you’ll find in the connector. Add each as a separate data source in the same report.

Connect the source first. Crawler datasets need crawler tracking. Visitor datasets need a connected GA4 property.

Keep the periods clear. Time-scoped datasets use Looker’s date range. Competitor Heatmap and Prompts return current state.

A report that
stays connected.

The connector fetches completed Trakkr data when Looker queries it. Check the returned report dates and the source’s own processing delays.

Know what
you’re sharing.

Your key inherits your Trakkr access. A shared Looker report makes that fetched data visible to the people you share it with.

Access and privacy

  • Use your own API key. The brand list follows your Trakkr permissions.
  • Viewers do not need their own Trakkr seat to see a shared report’s data.
  • Rotate keys deliberately and update every affected data source.

If a chart needs attention

Access denied

Check the key, plan and brand permissions.

Missing fields

Use Refresh fields in the data source.

Rate limits

Stagger refreshes. The API allows 60 requests per minute.

Empty charts

Check recent runs and the chosen date range.

Citations above 5,000 rows

Shorten the date range. The connector returns an error instead of a partial list.

Prompts above 5,000 rows
