How Futuro became AI’s answer for salons.

Futuro builds voice agents that answer the phone for salons. In fourteen weeks it made its site readable to AI, shipped 26 recorded changes, and became the most-cited site across the salon questions it tracks.

Fourteen weeks, day by day.

Each bar is a day of AI assistants reading Futuro’s pages. Over 5× more by the last fortnight. Server logs, 11 May to 19 Aug.

Inspect a date and read the log method
13.5 / day · 11 to 24 May71.9 / day · 6 to 19 Aug
19 Aug93 successful live assistant page fetches · 6.9× the opening fortnight’s daily average

Live assistant page fetches; bars scale to the highest day in each view. Daily successful fetches of real pages. The headline compares the opening fourteen-day average (11 to 24 May) with the closing fourteen-day average (6 to 19 Aug), not rounded endpoints. Spoofed bots, assets and Trakkr’s nightly checks are excluded consistently. Logs end at 19 Aug because the next days have a sync gap. Fetches are not human visits, citations or model-training evidence.

AI couldn’t read the site.

Ask an AI engine which receptionist to buy and it has plenty of answers: established software companies, YouTube explainers and Reddit discussions. Futuro had a more specific place to start, with the questions salons and restaurants ask.

The site looked fine in a browser. The server logs told a different story. AI crawlers were hitting a certificate error between Cloudflare and the origin, while Cloudflare’s strictest setting challenged automated visitors.

Trakkr made those failures visible. The certificate errors stopped within days, and Cloudflare came off its most restrictive setting on 25 May. The same week, the team shipped its first eight recorded changes: a ranked comparison, direct answers near the top of industry pages and FAQs from the questions AI was already answering.

123

AI crawler requests ended in a server error on 11 to 13 May, in the log history that came with the Cloudflare connection. Each one is printed here.

That was before daily tracking began on 14 May. On 25 May, Cloudflare came off its strictest setting. On 26 May, scheduled AI crawlers read 198 pages. Shown to 20 May; one more error followed on 21 May, then none to 25 May. Shown to 15 May; one more error followed on 21 May, then none to 25 May.

Brandon Gillespie founded Futuro to handle the calls a business’s front desk would. While evaluating several GEO platforms, his team connected Trakkr to its server logs and began checking the same buyer questions every day.

A pricing page only AI couldn’t see.

On 2 June, Trakkr flagged something a person would never notice. Every AI crawler that asked for Futuro’s pricing page got a 404, while the page loaded normally in a browser.

Futuro’s developers shipped a fix on 4 June. The next morning’s logs showed it hadn’t held. The second attempt, on 12 June, worked. Twelve days later, an AI answer linked to the pricing page for the first time.

Then came the wait.

Futuro’s own category term, “human staff mirroring”, was an early opening. ChatGPT first named Futuro for it on 22 May. At least one model then named Futuro every day for the 82 days that question remained in the tracked record.

The salon questions were harder. Trakkr had asked “voice AI for nail salons” every day from the start, and Futuro rarely came up. On 28 June, Trakkr sent Brandon a comparison-page mock-up. His team published its own version the next day.

Two models noticed, then let it go. For five weeks, no model named Futuro for that question. On 6 August, Perplexity did, and kept doing it every day to the end of the record on 19 August. Other salon questions were also beginning to hold, and Brandon saw recommendations himself.

Every day, eight models were asked.

Each square is one model on one day. Green means it named Futuro in its answer.

across its salon questions.

By late August, no site was cited more often than futurocorp.com in AI answers to the eight salon questions Futuro tracks. Trakkr counted links in the answers over the thirty days to 27 August. Futuro came first, ahead of cloudtalk.io and YouTube.

The wider market is a different story. On the 28 broad questions Futuro tracks, which name neither Futuro nor an industry, YouTube, Retell and Reddit lead, and Futuro sits 90th. Both lists cover the same thirty days. They show two markets, not a before and after.

“My team has subscribed to about half a dozen GEO platforms, and Trakkr has by far been the most impressive. Where it really shines is actionable recommendations that deliver results: our citation-driven traffic from AI platforms has more than tripled in 60 days.”

Futuro received a service credit for this testimonial.

How we know.

Where each number comes from, and who did the work. Anything else, just ask.

Citations and daily answers come from Trakkr’s tracked questions. Crawler and live-assistant reads come from Futuro’s Cloudflare logs. Visits and enquiries come from Futuro’s Google Analytics. Page fetches, mentions, citations and human visits are separate measures. The claim that traffic more than tripled in 60 days is reported by Futuro, not calculated from the charts here.
