An AI rank tracker checks where your brand appears when someone asks an AI assistant like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Gemini for a recommendation. Instead of a blue-link results page, the model replies with an ordered list of brands, and the tracker reports your position in that list, or that you are absent.

It is a real OpenAI model call, not a simulation. We ask an OpenAI model each question cold, with no web search. Your rank comes from its ordered answer, which is shown in full as evidence.

It reads your site to learn your real category and ideal buyer, then derives the highest-intent questions a ready-to-buy person asks an AI in that category, things like "best <category> for small teams" or "cheapest reliable <category>". Most are category questions that leave your brand out, so they show whether the model recommends you unprompted. A few defend questions name your brand or a rival on purpose, such as "alternatives to <your brand>", to see how the model handles buyers comparing options. Those rows are labelled, and they do not count toward your best rank.
