Track your brand
in ChatGPT.
ChatGPT has no dashboard for brands. Trakkr asks it your buyers’ questions every day, keeps every answer, and shows you where you stand.

ChatGPT now names you 3rd
Nike rankings over 7 daysOne chat tells you very little.
Ask ChatGPT the same question three times and you can get three different answers. One spot check can’t show where you stand. A daily record can.
Trakkr asks every morning and keeps every answer, so your place comes from weeks of answers, not one chat.
Best running shoes for flat feet?
For flat feet, most runners do best in a stable shoe with firm arch support. The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 is the usual pick. The Nike Structure 25 is a close second: a softer ride, and it comes in wide. For longer runs, try the New Balance 860v14.

Trakkr reads each answer the way you would: where it puts you, what it says about you and which pages it read. Then it keeps that reading, day after day.

puts you.
Every assistant ranks you its own way, so Trakkr keeps a separate record for each. Today ChatGPT is where you’re strongest.

changed its mind.
When an answer moves, Trakkr sets it beside the day before, finds the page ChatGPT started reading, and drafts the fix.

ChatGPT cites it in 3 of 4 answers. Trakkr drafted the pitch. One model, two different answers
Why ChatGPT is different.
Ask ChatGPT for the best product in your category and it answers in one of two modes. Sometimes it answers from memory: brand opinions baked in during training. Sometimes it runs a live web search and builds the answer from pages it fetched seconds ago, citations included.
These two modes reward different work. Memory answers move slowly; they reflect years of accumulated authority, and a brand that loses a memory-mode slot can take months to win it back. Search answers move fast; they reward pages that are fetchable, parseable, and direct enough to quote today.
If you only spot-check ChatGPT by hand, you can't tell which mode produced the answer, so you can't tell which fix applies. Trakkr records both modes separately, tracks them over time, and tells you whether you have a content problem you can fix this week or an authority problem you need to build toward.
Four patterns that show up almost every time we run ChatGPT
Observations from running buyer-intent prompts against ChatGPT daily. Directional, not benchmarked. The published numbers live in Trakkr Research.
Search mode rewrites the answer
The same prompt with web search active often returns a different brand list than the memory answer. Brands that look strong in one mode can be invisible in the other.
Memory answers are sticky
Brand lists in memory mode change slowly. That cuts both ways: a slot you hold is defensible, and a slot you lose takes months of authority work to win back.
Citations favor parseable pages
When ChatGPT cites, it links pages it could fetch and parse cleanly. Slow, script-heavy, or blocked pages lose citations to faster third-party summaries of the same facts.
Phrasing shifts the list
"Best CRM" and "which CRM should I use" can return different brands. One prompt is not a measurement. You need a set of variants tracked over time.
What Trakkr records in ChatGPT
Every daily run keeps the full ChatGPT answer, so each signal can be checked against the words behind it.
Brand mentions
Every time ChatGPT names your brand in response to a buyer-intent prompt: discovery, comparison, recommendation and support questions alike.
Cited sources
When ChatGPT searches the web, Trakkr records exactly which URLs it cited: yours, a competitor's, a review site, or a Reddit thread.
Competitor share
Which competitors ChatGPT recommends first, how often they appear next to you, and where you sit in the recommendation order.
Answer mode
Whether each answer came from model memory or live search. The same prompt can flip between modes, and the fix is different for each.
Visibility trend
One ChatGPT score rolling up mention rate, position, and sentiment, tracked daily so you can tie movements to what you shipped.
Mention alerts
Notifications when ChatGPT stops mentioning you, starts recommending a competitor, or picks up a source that gets your facts wrong.
A repeatable ChatGPT manual check
Two buyer questions and a few fixed controls turn a spot check into evidence you can compare.
Start with two buyer questions
- 1
Which three tools would you recommend for [job to be done], and why?
- 2
Compare [your brand] with [competitor] for [buyer need]. Cite current sources where possible.
Record the controls with the answer
Run both prompts in a new chat. Record the model, whether web search ran, your location, the brands named, their order, and every cited URL.
Limit: A single ChatGPT answer is not a market score. Search and memory modes, personalization, location, model changes and prompt wording can all change it, so keep search and memory answers apart.
Set up a useful daily record
Three steps from your domain to a record you can read every morning.
Add your brand
Enter your domain, review the buyer questions and choose the competitors you want to compare.
Run ChatGPT daily
Trakkr queries ChatGPT against your prompts every day, records the full answer, whether it used live search, every cited URL, competitor mentions, and your position.
Review what changed
Inspect the ChatGPT answers, mentions and sources behind a material change before choosing an action.

Not from OpenAI. ChatGPT has no brand dashboard, no mention notifications, and no analytics for businesses. The only way to know what ChatGPT says about you is to ask it the questions your buyers ask and record the answers. Trakkr automates exactly that: it runs your prompt set against ChatGPT daily and alerts you when a mention appears, moves, or disappears.
