Account

Trakkr has three account layers: a user, a team, and the brands that team tracks.

User
└─ Team
   ├─ Plan and billing
   ├─ Members and access
   └─ Brands
      ├─ Prompts and competitors
      ├─ Reports and history
└─ Actions, Pages, Automations, and Results

User

Your user account holds your name, email, password, regional preferences, sessions, and personal developer credentials. A user belongs to one team at a time.

Portal clients use a separate client identity. They do not become team members and do not consume team seats.

Team

The team holds the subscription. Members inherit the owner's effective plan, including features and limits. Owners manage the team and billing by default; an admin can manage billing only when given that access.

Team roles are Owner, Admin, and Viewer. They decide what a person can do across the team. Brand restrictions can then narrow which brands that person can see or edit.

The team also owns shared settings such as agency status, white-label portal settings, custom domains, report schedules, and brand groups.

Brand

A brand holds its own prompts, competitors, citations, reports, history, Pages, and work. Switching the active brand changes the data shown across brand workspaces.

Most teams let members see all brands. Agencies and multi-brand enterprises often turn on restricted brand access so a person sees only their assigned accounts.

Three common setups

One person, one brand

The user owns the team and tracks one brand. The team layer is still present but needs little attention.

In-house team

The owner invites colleagues. Admins operate the account, Viewers read it, and brand restrictions are optional.

Agency or multi-brand group

The team tracks a brand per client, location, product, or business unit. Internal teammates use the main app. Clients use the read-only white-label portal. Agency home and Locations provide cross-brand views where enabled.

Where permissions come from

Access combines:

  1. Team membership and role.
  2. Any restricted brand grants.
  3. Active client assignments for the portal.
  4. Plan or contract entitlements.

If a teammate cannot see a brand, check team membership and brand restrictions. If a client cannot see it, check the client or group assignment. If a whole workspace is missing, check the team flag and entitlement.

Where to go next

Common questions

Can I be on more than one team?

No. One user belongs to one team at a time.

Can a client see only their own brand?

Yes. Invite them through the White-Label Clients section and grant only that brand. Do not invite a client as an internal teammate unless they need the full app.

Can ownership be changed in Settings?

No. Contact support for an ownership change. Do not delete a live team just to move the owner.

Why does a teammate see the owner's plan?

That is plan inheritance. One team subscription covers the members and brands allowed by that plan or contract.
