Branding & Customization
White-label settings split portal identity across Branding, Onboarding, Footer, and Email. Together they control what a client sees before login, inside the portal, and in messages sent by Trakkr on your behalf.
Branding
The Branding section has six controls:

Changes save while you work. The header shows when a save is in progress. A desktop portal preview sits below the form, with preview modes for the main client surfaces.
Use a short portal name that a client already knows. Use a logo with clear space around it and check it at header size, not only at full size. The upload control tells you which files it accepts.
For the accent colour, enter a hex value or use the picker. Trakkr derives the lighter and hover states. If the colour is hard to read on white, the form shows a contrast warning.
Onboarding
Onboarding controls the first explanation a client receives and the method text they can refer back to. Use it to answer:
- What is this portal for?
- What does your agency track?
- How often should the client expect new data?
- Who should they contact with a question?
Keep the welcome short. Put the longer explanation in the method section. Do not claim that an Action caused a change. For measured work, use the same wording as Results, including Coincided with a drop and Couldn't measure where that is the answer.
Footer
Footer settings control links and copyright text. Add links a client may need, such as your main site, privacy notice, service terms, or support page. You can reorder links and remove ones that no longer apply.
Check every link from the portal Preview. A correct label with an old destination is easy to miss.
Feature names
Client-facing feature names are edited under Features, not Branding. Renaming changes the portal menu label only. It does not rename page headings, reports, data, or internal Agency navigation.
Keep Pages and Results unless your service has an established client term that is clearer. The underlying meaning remains the same.
Branded email
The Email section lets you send client messages from noreply@yourdomain after the domain is verified. You can set:
- Sender name.
- Optional reply-to address.
- Email domain.
The from address itself is fixed to noreply@ on the verified domain. Trakkr shows the DNS records returned for your domain. Add those exact records at your DNS host, then wait for every check to pass.
Once verified, use Preview emails and Send test email. Check the sender, reply address, logo, button colour, footer, and spam placement.
What branding does not change
Branding does not change client data, feature visibility, export rights, or brand access. Those live in Features and Clients. It also does not change the agency-side app, where your team still uses Trakkr navigation.
Launch check
Before the first client invite:
- Open the portal Preview.
- Check the login screen, menu, Dashboard, Pages, Results, and a report.
- Narrow the browser to a phone width and check the logo and menu.
- Send a test email to an address outside your own domain.
- Check footer links in a private browser window.
- Confirm the custom domain shows as active.
Common questions
Why does the client still see a default feature name?
Feature labels are saved under Features. Check whether that label was reset and whether you are viewing a new portal session.
Why is my colour being warned about?
It may not have enough contrast on white. Choose a darker shade, then recheck the preview.
Can I set a different logo for each client?
The portal branding belongs to the team. Client brands still keep their own brand identity in data and reports, but the portal shell uses the agency branding.
Does the portal name change my agency name in Trakkr?
No. It is the client-facing portal identity.
